Self Assessment (SA)

Why does Self Assessment (SA) apply to me?

Self assessment (SA) applies to all sole trader businesses. It’s HMRC's way of collecting income tax on your business profits; the amounts that would normally be taken if you were working as an employee. Without a third party making these deductions, the calculation and submission process is passed to the business owner, resulting in the annual SA return.

How can we help?

As HMRC Agents, we can assist you with all aspects of your self assessment requirements. We can provide complete solutions or a single service for the calculation and submission of your return. We will provide guidance on your business expenses, prepare your return for approval and inform you of your liability or refund, allowing you to forget about calculations and submission dates and concentrate on business as usual.
